Bear Valley Springs Association: A California nonprofit corporation, managed by a Board of Directors, elected by members. Lot owners and condominium owners are members, and pay an annual assessment to the Association. The Association leases, operates, and regulates the use of Equestrian Center, Recreation Center, Community Center, Golf Course Center, Park Areas, and other amenities. Telephone (661) 821-5537

The Association has adopted and may from time to time amend Rules and Regulations governing the use of the recreational facilities leased from the District.

Covenants and Restrictions regulating land use and establishing powers and duties of the Association have been recorded. Covenants and Restrictions are enforced by the Association. Visit www.bvsa.org and click on governing documents for more information.

Environmental Control Committee consists of members appointed by the Board of Directors of the Association to control the environment of Bear Valley Springs, including floor plans, elevations, exterior materials and colors, location of improvements, drainage, sewage facilities and landscaping.

Fees and FInacial Obligations:

Property Owners Association Assessments -
$1065.00 annually, paid in July for the following one year period.
This revenue is used to maintain the community amenities,including the golf course, Whiting Center and the Equestrian Center, along with the general business operation of the P.O.A.

Community Services District Special Tax -
$529.00 (on Kern County tax roll) can be paid semi-annually.
The C.S.D. is the organization that is responsible for the maintenance of the water system, sewage treatment facility and the road system in Bear Valley. A break down is as follows:
