Formed under California Community Services District Law managed by a Board
of Directors (who must be resident property owners). District owns, maintains
and regulates the use of the water system, sanitation system, roads, entrance
gate, equestrian trails and wilderness area. District also owns and maintains
other conununity facilities which are leased to and operated by the Association.
District also provides police and gate security services.

Police Protection: The entrance gate is guarded 24 hours daily. Entrance is by Gate Pass only. The Bear Valley Police Department provides 24-hour patrol within Bear Valley Springs, and maintains internal security.
Fire Protection: Fire protection is provided by Kem County Fire Department, from a fire station located within Bear Valley Springs.
